Zailuni discovered she was HIV-positive while
she was pregnant with her second child. After Zailuni fell ill, the
father of her child stopped providing support and Zailuni lost her
home, all of her resources and, she says, "all hope of
living."
Zailuni's Living
Story
"Between 2002 and 2030, depression is projected to surpass
perinatal conditions, respiratory infections, and diarrheal
diseases becoming the second leading cause of lost
disability-adjusted life-years in developing countries, trailing
only HIV/AIDS."
