On this 37th World AIDS Day, AMPATH joins the global community under the theme "Take the Rights Path: My Health, My Right!" in advocating for the right to health and addressing inequalities that hinder progress toward ending AIDS.
AMPATH began treating its first HIV patient in the early 2000s and has since built one of Africa’s most comprehensive HIV treatment and prevention programs. Working with the Kenya Ministry of Health system and with support from partners including USAID through USAID AMPATH Uzima, USAID Dumisha Afya and USAID 4TheChild, AMPATH delivers lifesaving care while strengthening Kenya's healthcare system.
