Health Insurance

MAKING HEALTH INSURANCE ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE FOR ALL KENYANS.

Together with Kenya’s Ministry of Health, AMPATH and local partners are educating communities about health insurance offered through the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) Supa Cover plan, supporting health facilities to become NHIF-accredited and facilitating enrollment in the plan. We are working together to ensure that high-quality care is available, affordable and sustainable through an insurance system.

Our long history with our partners in Kenya has included everything from emergency responses to epidemics to setting up revolutionary health systems, electronic medical records, and now a comprehensive insurance program that will make sustainable health even more achievable for the people of Kenya. And that’s the kind of help that changes an entire population’s lives.
