Nurses from around the world gathered for the first AMPATH Global Nursing Conference with the theme of “Advancing the Role of Nurses in Global Health.”

The Directorate of Nursing at MTRH has been involved in various projects related to nursing care, education and research under the nursing working group within the AMPATH partnership.

Pamela Jepleting Maritim, a health care worker from a USAID AMPATH Uzima-supported facility, won an award at the 2021 Beyond Zero Health Awards during the Beyond Zero summit held on 3rd December 2021.
