WE BUILD ENDURING, FUTURE-FACING RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE.
The AMPATH Research Network is led by Indiana University and committed to building a stable, resourced infrastructure for high-quality, high-priority research in Kenya. This includes a state-of-the-art research facility in the heart of the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Kenya.
We seek to prepare the next generation of researchers from Kenya and our partner institutions. Our goal is to nurture a supportive, research-intensive culture that creates successful independent investigators working in collaborative, interdisciplinary research teams that seek to identify innovations that improve global health outcomes.
Trainees, faculty, research staff, and investigators can access lectures discussing the challenges, opportunities and methods of clinical research and research administration. Covering a range of core topics, these lectures are meant to give the listener a basic introduction and overview of some key concepts and principles in research.
This series of lectures was supported by the National Institutes of Health through the Fogarty International Center under Award Number D43TW009105, the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences under Award Number UL1TR000006, and in part by the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute funded by grant award number UL1 TR001108 from the National Institutes of Health, National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, Clinical and Translational Sciences Award.
