Dr. Eren Oyungu
Assistant Professor of Child Health
Moi University School of Medicine
With additional training in neurology, Dr. Oyungu's clinical practice is focused on both general pediatrics, as well as pediatric epilepsy and childhood disabilities. Dr. Oyungu educates medical students and pediatric registrars at Moi University School of Medicine and conducts research in collaboration with the AMPATH Research Network in Kenya.
Dr. Megan McHenry
Assistant Professor of Pediatrics
Indiana University School of Medicine
Dr. McHenry's research focuses on global child health with a particular interest in neurodevelopment in children born to HIV-infected mothers and implementation science. She conducts research in partnership with Dr. Oyungu within the AMPATH Research Network in Kenya.
Michael Musili

6th Year Medical Student, Moi University School of Medicine
In 2018, he was among the top 4 students in the medical school selected to go for an exchange program in Indiana. He has experience in research having done several studies as well as worked with AMPATH as a research assistant in 2019. He has a passion for surgery and dreams of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon.
Mary Ann Etling

2nd Year Medical Student, Indiana University School of Medicine
In 2018, she received a Fulbright research award to learn about the barriers that impact caregivers of children with disabilities in northern Uganda. She works with AMPATH as a Slemenda Scholar. She hopes to pursue a career in pediatrics and global health.
